What ever happened to the art of conversation? Now whenever I go out with friends or other couples I feel like everything turns to celebrity gossip or work. Once upon a time I am sure we had something meaningful to say, things that sparked ideas and generated thoughts other than the latest style or beauty product. Not to mention that dinner time isn't always the easiest or stress free event at our house. Most of the time dinner conversation consists of meltdowns and me praying for silence. The solution??
Enter The Box Girls, moms and long time friends who were searching for that exact solution and just so happened to stumble upon it one night. Spontaneous questions that included everyone and boom...The Box of Questions was born.
"The questions didn't rely on trivia like the latest on ESPN, Brangelina
or American Idol. They delved into serious, thought-provoking issues
including ethics and morality, charity and history as well as a strong
appreciation for the bonds that tie together family and society."
Although my two little guys are a bit young to participate, it doesn't take much effort to manipulate a few questions here and there to get my three year old in on the action. The Family Dinner Box of Questions if my favorite. It is not every night we get to enjoy dinner as a complete family. But when we do, it is nice to know we can create lasting memories around the conversations that take place.
Probably one of my favorite things about this blog is the opportunity to be introduced and exposed to companies that may have otherwise gone unnoticed. I get the chance to meet new people and try out fabulous new products.
Announcements Galore is a new company to me. They feature fabulous photo cards for just about any occasion you can create. What better way to announce the birth of a new little one than to share it with those you love. The prices are about the lowest out there, yet the quality is top notch. Not only are the prices extremely affordable but each design is completely customizable. You can change the style, the layout or even the font to suit your fancy.
My friends over at Announcements Galore have been extremely generous! Today's giveaway will have not one but TWO winners! The winners get to take home a $30 gift certificate! How fabulous!! Just follow the simple giveaway rules to enter. Good luck!!

I have never really been a fan of the evite. It lacks style and originality and plus, I just love paper too much to not send out a "real" invite. I think I may be persuaded to try pingg though. A stylish + fashionable way to send out invitations using your computer. Check them out next time you are putting together a shindig!
