Hello readers!  Remember this fabulous company?  Lark and Loon is back and going to be at my house next week!  Well, not technically but I will be hosting a trunk show on Wednesday, October 1 @ 7:30pm.  If any of you readers are in the Dallas area and interested in attending please shoot me an email and I can kindly give you directions to my humble abode.   You will get to check out first hand how incredibly fabulous the clothes are.  The art work is so completely fun and whimsical and I can't wait to share it with you.  If you unfortunately do not reside near me you can still check out Lark and Loon's online shop and if you decide to purchase a goody just add my name [Molly] in the comment box.  Pretty simple!  Happy shopping and hope to see you here!

knitting.

Ever since I read a fun fiction series that revolved around knitting I have wanted to learn.  Well, I found a darling little store not too far from my home and think I may need to take a beginners knit class.  Any words of advice or wisdom?

September is here and I can't help but look forward to crisper weather and changing leaves.  Fall is perhaps my favorite season, although I probably live in the wrong state to truly appreciate it.  With fall comes Halloween, which is my second favorite holiday.  I'm already happy just thinking about it.  What's your favorite season?

Hello and happy Wednesday. My internet is down and will be for the remainder of the week. Danyelle would normally fill in but she had a fight with the lid of a can and lost. Her right hand is out of service and is sporting lovely stitches. We will be back next week! Heal quickly Danyelle. We will miss you.

In the land of blogs, Nie Nie reigns supreme.  Her charming life has been the source of much joy for many.  On Saturday August 16 Stephanie [Nie Nie] and her husband Christian were in a small plane crash that has left them both seriously injured and in a Phoenix burn center.  Please remember them in your prayers.  They have four lovely, small children that are anxiously awaiting their recovery.  To learn more about the Nielson's go here.  To read updates on their recovery from Stephanie's sister Courtney, go here.  And finally, to donate to their recovery go here.  Oh, and check out Design Mom's great idea for a fund raiser in the Nielson's honor here.

my favorite Liam.

Sorry about the absence of a post this morning.  I had the opportunity to watch my nephew be born early, early this morning.  It was amazing to be on the other end and see this miracle of life take place.  Mommy and baby are doing great and I am a proud aunt of another amazing little guy!

What magazines do you like to read?

going green.

Okay gals, I am about as not green as can be so I need your help.  I have finally come to the conclusion that I need to do my part in taking care of mother earth.  After all, I am a mom and I know what a hard job it can be.  I really want to start recycling and I most definitely want to switch my kid's straw cups over to a BPA-free version.  I found these foogo by thermos cups online and came across, on some random blog I can't remember, this book.  Any tips, suggestions, encouragement....comment away!
