My Favorite Things is a blog that is focused on just that, my favorite things. I like to focus on what makes me happy, that is, my family and shopping! There are so many treasures out there to discover and I hope to do just that.
I explore just about everything from current diy projects to my new favorite piece of clothing. I especially love handmade items that are created from the heart. Life at My Favorite Things is new and different everyday.
I am a young mother of two young, active boys. As a mom and a woman I think it is fabulous to see other mothers out there pursuing their dreams.

am Molly Elmer, writer and founder of My Favorite Things. I am a young
stay at home mom to my two very active little guys. I
reside in Texas where the summers are hot, hot, hot and where
we have no idea what snow really is. Life is a little bit crazy, a dash
of fun, a pinch of excitement, and whole lot of love. Home to me is
wherever my husband and boys are. Motherhood is everything I wanted it
to be and some things I never imagined. Simple + clean is the best way to describe my style and I guess you could say I am always trying to achieve that in a house decorated with way too many toys.
