When I came across Kate Grenier Designs I knew I had to feature her on My Favorite Things. Her collection became her inspiration, which eventually became her product.
“with no particular end use in mind, i’ve been collecting ‘junque,’ curios, symbols & quotations for years. blending handcraft techniques & recycling, i explore ways for art to become useful & for useful objects to become art.”
My absolute favorite goody from her shop has to be her bottle cap magnet sets that are theme packaged. She has over 50 six-pack themes to choose from, making it a difficult decision to select your most favorite. Also included in her product line are hammered aluminum clocks, mirrors, tables and jewelry boxes. Her work can be found in over 200 galleries and boutiques across the world.

My fridge is held up by magnets, so of course I need more! I love the vintage ones on the site. I am doing a lot of WWII era scrapbook pages of my uncles, aunts and parents right now, and they fit right into that mood.
