I love slings + wraps + baby carriers. With each of my two boys I collected a few and then a few more. I know whenever we decide to expand our family again I will most likely purchase I knew something or other to wear my little guy or gal. The baby hawk looks fantastically simple and comfy. Any comments on it?
Baby announcements was usually something I always thought would be fun to send out but only actually did with one of my sons. I could never find the "perfect" one. Easy + unique. Although there are many sites and designs to choose from, I have never seen a magnet birth announcement until now.
Enter, Stork Magnets. After realizing that her save-the-date magnets were still lingering on the refrigerators of family and friends, she knew that she had hit on something special. During that same time, a coworker announced her pregnancy and boom! Stork Magnets was born.
The magnets measure 6x4 inches and are printed on a satin/glossy material. Completely customizable, so you will be sure to get the look you want. Hey, you can even create your own design and upload it to the website! The only downside there may be is that they do run a bit high in price. But the turn around time is awesome. Your order will ship out in just four short days and they also host a "money back guarantee". I will most definitely be bookmarking Stork Magnets for when I finally decide on number 3.
Extra goodness: Enter MollysFavThings in the comment box when placing your order and receive TEN free bonus magnets with any purchase.
Gasp. Could this be true...wearable art? I had to do a double take on the website to confirm but it is most certainly true. Lark and Loon has beautifully combined art and clothing into something you will definitely want your little guy or gal to wear. Stretchy + soft + delightful art makes a truly winning combination.
Gretchen and Priscilla [the lark and the loon] are the creators behind the brilliance. They take your ordinary tee, commission REAL artists and voila! You have a piece of art! Gretchen and Priscilla believe so much in art that 5% of the profits go to American for the Arts. A great foundation, that among many other things, supports art in public school. Sizes range from 2-12. The guy tees are rockin' with dragons and sharks while the girls selection host adorable drops "versatile top-dress wonders" with whimsical designs. Go check them out and see for yourself.
One of my favorite activities to do with my boys is to read stories with them. We love all kinds of books about bulldozers and trucks, to a little boy trying to catch a star. But among the most treasured are stories about each of them. Kids love to hear their name and see their picture, in a book no less. Eyes light up and everything becomes magical. Perhaps this is why I fell head of heals for FlattenMe.
A fantastic new company [to me] that takes your child's picture and inserts it into a fairy tale story all about him/her. Imagination comes to life right before your eyes.
"Our lives are defined by stories – stories of childhood, of triumph, of
loss. Even wild stories of the imagination. When a child pretends to be
a pirate or a princess or a fairy, she truly believes she has changed,
become part of a different world for that moment in time. She has
invented a new story of her own.
It is in this world – one of imagination, inspiration and gifts of
the heart – in which flattenme was born. We seek not only to spark the
imagination of a child, but to take a story which starts as a moment in
time – a photograph – and then becomes something entirely new."
I must admit that I too am enamored with pictures of Benny dancing across the pages of the story. And not just any Benny, but My Benny. This book will be something I will treasure for years to come.
Remember when I talked about the Tassihere. Well, I am still as much in love with it as I was then. Honestly I use mine everyday. It is definitely my go to must have when I am taking a bath or putting on make-up. I am going on holiday in just a short time and it is already written down on my list of "things to pack". That is how much I love and use it.
Today I have two Tassi's to giveaway. How fantastic is that? If you really, really, really want to win one, just follow the instructions below and answer this question... What color would you choose? Good Luck!
