I love when I find just the perfect baby product. After giving birth to my second son a little over a year ago I thought I had discovered the best of everything. Bibs are a big thing around my house. In my opinion you really need two kinds of bibs. One for the spit-upper/drooler and a completely different kind for the messy eater. After purchasing a handful of different styles I think I have finally found a drool worthy bib.
Fig Basics is one of my favorite etsy finds. A handmade gift blossomed into a darling little online shop. After making a few bibs & burb cloths for some close girlfriends, Ashley Anderson soon realized how much she enjoyed creating them and Fig Basics was born. Her bibs and burp cloths are made with a cotton fabric front and are backed with chenille, which makes it so soft to the touch and adds a little extra to the design. No velcro, just snaps!! Perfect for the babe who likes to try and rip it off (which would be my little rascal).
Ashley is a woman of many talents and feels most at home when she is creating something with her own two hands. She started sewing as a young girl and picked it back up after she married her husband four years ago. Although she does not have children of her own just yet, she will be well equipped when she does.
To kick start my favorite things two week giveaway, Ashley is offering the winner a $25 gift certificate to Fig Basics. The winner will be able to choose a bib or burp cloth or both of their choice. I also just noticed a fun plush toy that she just added to her shop. With such fun fabrics I am sure it will be hard to choose. Hop on over there right now and take a look. My favorite is the green polka dot print, what's yours?

That bib is SO cute! I just started feeding my 4-month old rice cereal, so we are using bibs all the time now. I would love to have some cute, trendy bibs like that!
